Silver Rainbow is Albuquerque's LGBTQ+ and ally recovery and support community, built on the same clinical foundation as Grand Summit Recovery and shaped around people who shouldn't have to explain or defend their identity to get care. We support our community through substance use counseling, housing and food navigation, mental health support, and end-of-life companionship. We work in close partnership with Grand Summit Recovery, sharing their evidence-based approach and clinical standards, while also collaborating with local clinics, housing organizations, and community partners across Albuquerque, because no one organization can hold everything a person needs.
We envision a future where recovery, healing, and everyday support in Albuquerque don't require anyone to hide who they are. A community where LGBTQ+ individuals and allies can access substance use recovery, mental health care, housing and food support, real connection, and companionship at the end of life, without ever having to choose between getting help and being fully themselves. A community built on partnership, not isolation, where care follows people through every stage of their lives.
